Round 1 was an interview with their VP of sales. Round 2 was an online personality assessment, I think 15 minutes. Round 3 was a ride-along with a current field rep to see what the job is like. Round 3 was supposed to be a 1-hour sales pitch to the current Centric team to show them you have what it takes to close the deal, but I never had it. My problem was, the company ended up hiring an internal candidate after Round 3 without informing me, which is their right to do but also not professional. I only found out after 2 weeks of waiting when I got in touch with a third-party familiar with the process.

Behavioral Presentation Other

The interview process took a while but it felt fair. It wasn't hard, just that I had to keep coming back to interview with different people. The questions they asked were pretty standard. The last part involved preparing a PowerPoint presentation to give in front of the VP and manager. They gave me a copier to research and prepare to sell. They didn't give a lot of details, so I had a lot of freedom to go in any direction I wanted. The PowerPoint presentation was the final stage. Usually, employers check references after this point. But be aware, they will call your references before this stage. If you don't do well in the interview with the VP, you'll probably get a standard rejection email. This means you might have strained relationships with your current job. You'll be affected at your current job because you already told your current boss how unhappy you are and that you're looking for a new job. Sending a basic, generic rejection email after weeks of meetings with company members is unprofessional, especially for a company that claims to be great at customer service.

So the interview process took about 5 weeks and it was pretty thorough. They really want to make sure you can handle the challenge of this role, so they have a lot of steps to check if you've got the right stuff to be successful.
