So before the actual interview, there's like this questionnaire that's not technical. Then comes the phone screen, followed by interviews with team members. Some of the non-technical team members seemed really uninterested, like they were disturbed from the get-go. They'll hit you with irrelevant HR questions, like how certain situations made you feel. The more technical folks will actually try to gauge your knowledge. But honestly, a lot of it is just you rating yourself on a scale instead of them actually testing your skills. Expect a ton of HR-type questions. No system design, no algorithms, no design patterns, nothing about the nitty-gritty of the language. They're mostly interested in your past work experience at a high level.

First, I had to take an online Cognitive/Aptitude/IQ test (CCAT), which had 50 questions in 15 minutes. You need to get a minimum score to move on. As a software engineer, it wasn't too hard, so I think most people in similar roles can pass. After that, I was called for the final interview round. It was a panel interview with 4 people: my manager, another manager, a senior product owner, and a senior software developer. They asked me general questions about my past experience, difficulties I've faced, my strategies, and my career goals. The team was really friendly and made the interview easy, even though I was nervous. A few days later, I got the job offer.

I went through 3 phone interviews. The first two were about my personal qualities and they also explained what I would be doing and the company's objectives. The last one mentioned training, but the positions were ultimately cancelled because of covid.
