I had to complete a test before my interview. Then I spoke with the hiring manager about my experience and any planned time off. They also asked if I had looked into the company and what I knew about their services.

The interview process moved pretty quickly. The first interview was with supervisors, and then the second interview was with managers. They were all very straightforward and detailed about the position and answered all my questions. I am reviewing this again because my first review stated a negative experience, which was not the case. It was a very positive experience.

I applied through LinkedIn and got a call a few days later to come in for an interview. Once I got there, the HR manager told me about the benefits, which are really good. Then, she had me take a skills test on the computer. It was a timed test with 50 basic questions on shapes, analogies, and math, plus an essay on why they should hire me. After the test, a department manager interviewed me. She mostly asked questions about my resume and if I was okay with traveling for the job. She also asked about past experiences and conflict. I didn't hear back after the interview, so I guess I didn't do too well on the skills test.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview was a mix of informal and formal. First, I had an informal meeting offsite with management the week before the main interview. We talked for about 2 hours instead of the scheduled 1, covering my background, skills, and career goals. It was helpful for understanding expectations. Then, the formal interview was a panel with the management team. They asked mostly behavioral questions about my experience, which was a good way to present myself and learn about their perspective on the company and role. I thought it was a great, relaxed approach. I'm eager to join and help with change management and process improvement.
