The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with a phone screen where they asked some basic questions. Then, I had an in-person interview with the store manager. After that, I had to complete a drug test and a background check before I could get the job. The drug test is hair-based and can apparently detect things from a while back.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty quick. They asked a lot about how you deal with employees and customers who are mad. They really wanted to know what you'd be doing all day, which is basically running the sales floor and making sure everyone is working hard.

Applied to several locations over Workpop and got a call about a week later from one location. They did a phone interview first with pretty much the same questions as the ones conducted in person. The woman interviewing me said she would let her assistant manager know how I did and I would get a call either later that night or the next morning. I got called two hours later and was asked to come into an interview. I had to fill out their official application in store then went to the manager's office for an interview. It was typical, he asked generic questions like why should we hire you, what is your experience in retail. They will call your references! If they want to hire you they will perform a background check for DUIs and a hair drug test, which I was told can trace back up to six months.

You can apply online, or at a store. They also have job fairs where you can get an on the spot interview with a Store Manager. After applying, it's usually a phone interview, then an in person interview, a reference check, and then a drug test. If all goes well, you're hired.
