It went pretty well. There was just one interview, and it was mainly about checking if my personality, work style, and values fit with the company culture.

The interview process spanned approximately two months. It took two weeks to hear back from the recruiter. Then it took three weeks of me following up to get the first interview. The next panel interview happened a week later, and then it took another week to receive a verbal rejection. The hiring manager was 15 minutes late to their interview and didn't even know they had one scheduled. During the subsequent peer panel interview, I was asked a lot of STAR questions, and my experience wasn't really explored. I was told I could probably do the job.

The interview process was generally smooth. I had 2 interviews, each an hour long, with the hiring manager and other senior managers. They first emailed me to schedule the interviews. Everyone was nice and asked relevant questions. The interviews felt like collaborative discussions, and I could ask a lot of questions. It was one of the better interview experiences I’ve had. The whole thing took a while though, partly because it was during the holidays, which likely extended it. It seems like a good company based on my interactions. My only slight annoyance was receiving the salary expectations question via text. I wasn't expecting it, but I appreciated the transparency about the role's budget. It was a bit lower than I wanted, which might be why I didn't get an offer. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
