Project Coordinator
The hiring process was a bit slow, honestly. I had already accepted another offer and started working before they even got back to me for a second interview. The questions themselves weren't too tough, but maybe the harder ones come later.
- Can you share your experience that is relevant to this role?
Project Coordinator
The interview process started with a recruiter screening call and concluded with a final team interview, totaling two rounds. The recruiter's explanation of the process was a bit unclear, but the timeline for each stage was quick. I was confused and disappointed when the recruiter, without my consent, removed my application for the Project Coordinator Intern role and moved it to a different position, making me feel pressured into a role I hadn't experienced before.
- Can you describe your typical daily tasks and how you stay current with new information?
Project Coordinator
I put in my application for this role internally via the online system on Friday, June 1st, 2018. They reached out to schedule an in-person interview for Tuesday, June 5th, 2018, but I set mine for the next day, Wednesday, June 6th, 2018. I first met with the hiring manager for a 30-minute one-on-one. Then, I had a 30-minute interview with the department's Director and a Business Analyst. They mentioned they wanted to hire someone quickly, either this week or next. HR got in touch on Friday, June 8th, 2018 with an offer. We were able to negotiate a good salary, and the offer was finalized on Monday, June 11th, 2018.
- Can you share an example of how the best manager you've had motivated you, and explain why that approach was effective? Also, tell me about the worst manager you've had.
- What's your level of experience with Excel?
- How do you manage when you receive multiple project requests from various individuals?
