I had an initial conversation with the talent advisor on Zoom, and she then sent my resume for two available roles. I interviewed for both positions. I was informed that a final interview with the director was scheduled, but the director never showed up. Despite multiple attempts to contact the talent advisor via email, I have received no response. It's frustrating to be ghosted instead of receiving a simple rejection, as it creates false hope and unnecessary stress. My advice to others considering this role is to be wary of their promises; they tend to ghost candidates in the end without providing adequate feedback or opportunity.

So I used to work at Centene from 2017-2021, and I applied for a BA III role. The recruiter called me for a phone screen and mentioned that the position I applied for might already be filled, but she wanted to discuss another BA III opening that she thought would be a good fit. It wasn't really an interview, just a chat about my experience, availability, and salary. She then sent me a link to apply for the new role. After I applied, she said she'd pass me to the hiring manager for a potential video interview. Two days later, I got a request for a video interview with a Senior Manager and a Director. The Director wasn't available, so I only interviewed with the Senior Manager. It was a 30-minute interview, pretty average difficulty. We talked about my past Centene experience, my ideal work environment, and handling ambiguity. The next step was a video interview with the hiring manager. A few days later, I got another interview request with the hiring manager and a Senior Director. This 30-minute interview felt easier, focusing on my past Centene work and specific tasks from my previous role. They mentioned I'd hear from a recruiter soon about an offer if selected. The next day, the recruiter called with an offer. After accepting and submitting background check info, it took 4 business days to clear. Then the recruiter confirmed and we set a start date.

I applied back in May/June and then got an email from HR in July to set up an interview. I had it the week after they emailed. The hiring manager was really nice and tried to make it chill. We chatted for like 20 minutes first. Then she asked me what I knew about Centene, my Excel skills, why I wanted the job, and about a time I dealt with a conflict. She also talked a lot about the role and how Centene is a great place to work. The whole thing was a bit over an hour. It's been a month and still no word, even after I followed up with HR twice. The first time, she said the hiring manager was still interviewing, and the second time, no reply. I'm guessing I didn't get it, which sucks because the manager seemed awesome and Centene is supposed to be a good company.
