There were four interviews: Recruiter, HR, VP of Analytics, and Sr. Dir of Analytics. The first two were pretty straightforward, mostly checking general knowledge, availability, and salary expectations. The VP wanted to go over what the job would entail. The Sr. Director, who is the hiring manager, went into more advanced topics and technical details related to Analytics. No specific technical interview was conducted.

I applied online and got an email the next day that my application was moving forward. A few days later, a recruiter called and emailed to set up an interview for the following week. The interview went well, and I thought I'd get an offer for sure. But, I didn't hear back from the recruiter for almost 3 weeks. I followed up a few times before being told they were still reviewing everyone and I'd know soon. The next day, I got a call with an offer, which I accepted. The next step was the background check. The interviewer warned me it could take a while, but mine was only about 3 days. I passed and got my start date.

Applied for the role and had an initial HR screen. About three weeks later, I had a virtual interview. Two weeks after that, a second interview, and then another two weeks later, a third interview. Two weeks after the final interview, I got a generic rejection email. The whole process took over 8 weeks, with no communication from HR. The interviews themselves were pretty relaxed for an analyst position, but the whole thing dragged on way too long. They mostly asked situational questions. HR was completely unresponsive via email throughout the entire process, even after sending the rejection. It reflects poorly on Centene. Giving candidates feedback during the process is really important.
