Behavioral Presentation

My first interview was over the phone, and the interviewers were driving and could barely be seen. They asked about my interest in the role and my experience working alone. The final interview was a week later. The first thing they asked was if I had any questions. The VP flew in and asked the same questions the team did before, and they kept asking if I had questions. Then, in the last 5 minutes, the school coordinator came in and asked if I had any questions. It was a really confusing interview process. They said I'd hear back on Friday, then Monday, but I didn't hear until Tuesday night.

The interview was a back and forth chat about the job posting and what the role entails, and the company. The main points were regarding the hours and expectations, as 50-60% of the hours were outside of normal school hours. This, I thought, was very up front and also led me to believe they might have trouble keeping personnel on board due to the working hours. The first interview was in person, followed by two additional phone interviews.

Behavioral Technical

I applied super late, like they had this open house thing and I missed it. Got called in thinking it was internal, but nah, it was a direct Cenergistic gig. I did my homework and knew their business models were different. Plus, my current org had no skin in the game, so if leadership bailed on the program, my job was toast – big worry for a family man. Anyway, I met with two Cenergistic bigwigs, a VP and a regional manager, I think. Cool dudes, but they were super vague when I asked about their company and how they operate. Two of my current HR folks were there too, but they only asked me like one or two questions. Got a call with an offer two days later.
