My first interview was over the phone, and the interviewers were driving and could barely be seen. They asked about my interest in the role and my experience working alone. The final interview was a week later. The first thing they asked was if I had any questions. The VP flew in and asked the same questions the team did before, and they kept asking if I had questions. Then, in the last 5 minutes, the school coordinator came in and asked if I had any questions. It was a really confusing interview process. They said I'd hear back on Friday, then Monday, but I didn't hear until Tuesday night.

Recruiter called me, I did a phone screen that went well, then another that went well, then a third phone screen that went well. After that, I had a round of phone calls with senior people. It took about 2 months, then they flew me to Dallas to visit the main office. They paid for the travel and gave me some money for expenses. I had a round robin interview with 5 different people there. The questions were mostly standard. I got some feedback through the recruiter later. They really like people with lots of industry experience.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • One interviewer asked if I had a spouse or kids to see if I'd be okay with lots of travel, instead of just asking directly if I'd be okay with lots of travel.

I spoke with a recruiter, and then had a FaceTime interview with Luis Pajares. The recruiter was great to work with. Ultimately, I decided not to continue with the interview process because I didn't feel my personality and sales style would be a good match for the company, and the compensation plan wasn't a significant enough increase for me.

It started with a phone interview with 3 IT managers where they looked at my skills and personality. Then there was an on-site interview to dive deeper into my talents. They might have called me back to meet with others too.
