The overall interview process was very good, with a lot of support from leadership. Some promises made during the interview process did not materialize after hiring. Despite this, the team is great and the people I interviewed with were good.

So, there were two interviews total. First, I had a 30-minute video call with my direct manager. Then, there was a one-hour panel interview where I met with my direct manager again, along with three other people from upper leadership. The questions were mostly about behavioral stuff, like past leadership experiences, how I've dealt with conflicts, managed my time, and my project or research experience.

The phone interview was super quick. The interviewer just went through standard questions about me. She didn't really react to what I said, just blasted through the questions. Even though it was a bit weird, I moved on to the 'in person interview'. This part was a bit chaotic. The two women interviewing me saw my resume for the very first time when I arrived. They interviewed me separately. They were reading my resume to find questions while I was still answering their previous ones. They sometimes forgot what they had asked and repeated questions within the same interview. I was told they'd let me know about the job offer a week after the interview. Six weeks later, I called for an update, and they mentioned they'd have a meeting the next week to discuss. I haven't heard back since then.
