The interview process with ABC was great. I sent in my application on a Friday afternoon and received a response from a recruiting coordinator about 2 hours later asking me for the best contact number and some potential times for an interview. My interview was Thursday of the next week. She gave me the name on one interviewer but there were 3 total as a panel (which was a little bit of a surprise) but everyone was super nice. They actually had the director of the team, the guy who created the role, and the girl whose position I'd be filling who happened to be getting a promotion. I thought having her on was a very nice, positive touch. The interview was pretty standard, no surprise questions. We actually got through everything and spent some time just chatting which made it very relaxed. I didn't hear back for about a week so I reached out to the recruiting coordinator to see where we were in the process and she said she didn't have any info and would be able to provide more details within the next 2 weeks. Fast forward two days, I received a call with an offer and they gave me the weekend to accept or decline. Overall, it was an easy process.

It wasn't too bad. We discussed my work history. I was told twice that I basically had the job, but I never got an offer. I sent a bunch of emails asking for an update because HR had called me to see if I was still interested. After about 10-14 days, I finally got a response saying they hired someone with more experience. While that's okay, it's really unprofessional when you take the time to go in for an interview and they can't even tell you they chose someone else. It really makes them look bad.
- Can you describe your current work responsibilities?

It was three rounds. First, a 10-minute recruiter call where they asked about my resume, why I'm interested in the company, my past experience, and how my skills could help. Then, a 30-minute interview with the manager where I had to lead the conversation by asking questions to learn about the team, the business, my manager, and my role. Finally, a 45-minute chat with the team, which felt like talking with friends. I was told to ask them questions to keep the conversation going and to be ready to answer their questions using the STAR method.
