First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cellular Sales.
Sales Associate
I went to the store to see how they sell stuff. After they accepted me, we had a zoom call. Then I had to take some tests, like a personality test and an IQ test. If I passed, I got accepted into their training program in Savannah, GA.
- What gets you up in the morning?
- What do you expect for pay?

You'll have an on camera interview. Practice, practice, practice! Look at all the interview questions on Glassdoor and rehearse your answers on your own camera. Make sure to wear business casual attire. They'll ask practice questions before the real interview begins, but once it starts, there's no turning back. After that, there's an in-person interview at Corporate, followed by an in-store interview with a manager. Then comes drug testing and background checks (it's pretty thorough, almost like the CIA's vetting process).
- What is one thing that's holding you back?
- What would you do if faced with an irate, cursing customer while another customer is in front of you?
- In five years, where do you see yourself?
Sales Associate
I had a phone chat with the recruiter from Cellular Sales. Then, I had an in-person meeting with the General Manager. He asked a lot of questions about my life, what drives me, and the job itself, along with my previous sales experience. After that, I had a video call with the recruiter again. She inquired about my aspirations for the company. A personality assessment and a drug screening followed.
- What motivates you
- Tell me about your past sales experience
- What are your goals for the company
