Practice Specialist
I applied online by sending a cover letter and resume to a generic HR email in September 2014. Several months later, the Director of Recruiting contacted me about a different position. He sent an email on a Tuesday night, I replied the next morning, and we spoke on the phone the same day. The entire interview process, starting from the recruiter's contact, lasted about 3 weeks. First, there was a Phone Interview where the recruiter explained their role, the reason for hiring, and discussed the casual work environment, job duties, benefits, salary, and start date. They asked basic 'tell me about yourself' questions and if I thought I'd be a good fit. They also disclosed benefits and salary upfront, which was unexpected for a first interview. The day after the recruiter call, I had a second Phone Interview with the person who previously held the role I was applying for. I discussed the position with her and answered a few questions. The following week, after being referred by the Director of Recruiting, I was contacted by the Technical Recruiter. They arranged an in-person interview the next week with several people. I had a one-on-one meeting with the Technical Recruiter and then met two team members in person. At the end of the group meeting, I was told I'd interview with the department lead, but I never heard back from Celerity again.
- Tell me about yourself?
- Are you an organized person?
- Describe a time you had to handle many assignments at once.
Senior Technical Recruiter
This company is a complete waste of time. The interview was supposed to be 2 hours. I talked to the recruitment manager, who was as dynamic as a burned piece of toast. After 1 hour of being grilled about my background, I decided this wasn't the company for me. I ended the interview and thanked him for his time. The office environment is sterile and uninviting. While waiting in the reception area, I noticed the CEO walk by. He never turned his head to acknowledge me, even though I was interviewing for a position with his company. It just shows the lack of respect they have for others.
- How would you find a candidate that is hard to locate?
Intern
Got referred by someone internal, then sent my resume and cover letter. Officially applied for the internship through HR. Here's what happened: 1. Sent an e-mail request. 2. Had a telephone screening. 3. Interview 1 with an Intern Programmer, and Interview 2 with the Field supervisor/manager. 4. Got an offer letter less than a week later. 5. Accepted it 2 days after that.
- What are your future career aspirations?
- What do you anticipate learning from this internship?
- What are your expectations for this experience?
Consultant
I had 2 interviews: a phone screening first, then a live interview with a director. It included basic behavioral questions, and they asked about my data analytics and stakeholder management skills. I ended up getting ghosted. I took the interview a month and a half ago and to this day I never even gotten a rejection even though I asked twice. waste of time, so much better companies that will actually tell you if you got the job or not.
- Can you tell me about your background and why you're interested in Celerity?
