Software Engineer
This was a campus placement for a Software Engineer Trainee role with a salary of 5 LPA in Chennai. The process had 4 rounds. First, a written test on campus covering logical reasoning, aptitude, technical MCQs, SQL, and algorithms. Second, a technical round also on campus where we had to solve 4 coding questions (medium to hard difficulty, including sliding window and coin change problems) and get at least 3 right. Third, a technical interview conducted on-site in Chennai. Finally, an HR interview, also on-site in Chennai.
- Can you tell me how to find the total amount of water trapped between the edges?
Software Engineer
The whole process has five stages: first, there's an aptitude and core subjects test. Then, you'll tackle 7 DSA problems. After that, you'll have two technical interviews where they'll dive into your skills and past projects. Finally, an HR interview to see how you are personality-wise, your communication skills, and if you'd fit the company culture.
- Can you check if a string is a valid palindrome?
- How would you determine if two strings are anagrams?
- Implement the Game of Life.
Software Engineer Trainee
I've finished the first round. It covered the basics of Aptitude and Arrays, Matrix, and Strings. Having a strong grasp of the fundamentals in these areas makes it easier to pass the first interview round. This was part of my on-campus interviews.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Questions on Aptitude
- Questions on Arrays
