First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CEGID.
Account Executive
The interview process included a chat with HR, followed by two interviews with the sales team, and then one with the office director. The interviews were pretty relaxed, mostly asking about your background and why you're looking to switch jobs. They put the hiring on hold though because of a change in the Verifactu regulations.

Data Scientist
The Lead Data Science followed me for 4 months, even before the offer was approved, with regular updates on the process. After the offer was approved, I was put in touch with HR for a 5-minute interview, which was very brief and didn't involve much discussion. Then... no more news, no feedback, no follow-up. After 4 months of waiting and commitment, complete silence: I was ghosted without explanation, without any chance to defend my application. This shows a chaotic and very disrespectful hiring process for candidates, despite their time and patience.

Service Delivery Manager
I had my first and only interview with a CEGID employee for a discovery call. The contact was friendly, and the questions were varied and interesting. I also had the chance to introduce myself briefly. Then came the salary discussion. They actually called me to offer me the position. We identified a 10K€ gap compared to my current salary, and I told them it was unlikely they could match it. She replied that she would still propose my profile to her boss because he liked my CV, and they had just hired another candidate with a slightly higher salary. Since then, nothing, no response. I didn't know HR could ghost you in 2025. It's not professional or respectful after an hour-long interview; I naively expected a bit more consideration. But maybe it says a lot about the company, as reading comments, I notice this company isn't very attractive. Anyway, you be the judge.

Sales Engineer
It took two and a half months. Phone calls with an external agency, video calls with a consultant, a business case to prepare for a video call with a Sales Manager, a second video call with a Sales Manager. An HR person is involved in scheduling. A call with the regional director... It was quite organized but long. Many people to talk to. It's hard to stay focused when you're applying to other companies too. They talk about performance, results, and rewards, but the sales package doesn't include a company car. You'll need to use your personal vehicle to find new clients (cost-saving?!). Generally, they didn't stick to the timelines for updates. I had to follow up multiple times to know what was happening. It felt like the candidate was already chosen, even though the agency said otherwise... The process needs to be smoother and stick to the deadlines. They also didn't respect the deadlines for providing updates.
