First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CDW.
Senior Software Engineer
I didn't actually go through an interview process because I joined CDW about 3 years ago when they merged with another company. But, the normal interview process usually has three rounds. It starts with a recruiter phone screening.
- Can you discuss your previous experiences that align with the requirements of this role?
Software Developer
The first round was a mix of Aptitude, Programming, Data Structures, DBMS, SQL, and other computer concepts. Be careful, there were negative marks for wrong answers. The programming part included snippets from HTML, CSS, Java, and JavaScript, covering OOPs and SQL too. Aptitude questions were medium difficulty. Computer concepts and programming snippets were more important. Round 2 was a pen and paper programming round with three questions: two on strings and one on linked lists. The questions were moderately tough. Round 3 was a Technical Interview focusing on Data Structures, OOPs, DBMS, and similar topics. It lasted about 40-50 minutes. You'll need solid technical knowledge for this. Round 4 was a panel discussion, again with technical questions like those mentioned before. They liked honest answers, so be confident. Knowing a bit about the company helps to do well in this round.

Software Engineer
The interview included questions about my resume and more real-time, example-based questions, with some stress questions. They asked me to write a program for the Fibonacci series. I got nervous. They checked how confident I was in my speaking and my points.
