& Process

An external recruiter reached out to me via Indeed.com. After a quick chat, I registered on CDW's talent site. The external recruiter alerted an internal recruiter. Then, I had a 30-minute chat with the internal recruiter, followed by an hour-long phone interview with a team member. The team member referred me, and I had a final interview with my hiring manager and another technical person over WebEx. I got the offer about 3 days later.

The interview process is long and drawn out. You're first contacted by their recruiter, after which you have a phone interview to determine if you are a good fit for the job. The next step is a bizzare online personality test to determine whether you are a psycopath?! If you pass this test you are then scheduled to do 3 more interviews, including a technical phone interview, a face to face interview - where they sorta feel you out, and another phone interview with the program manager. They also perform a background test on you, i.e. criminal and credit, with drug testing once they hire you. All in all my interview process took a little over a month, with long stressfull gaps between each stage of the interview process. Though I made it to the final stage of the interview process, I wasn't offered the job, and would certainly not subject myself to that stress and scrutiny for an entry level position (that doesn't pay that much), unless I was completely out of options. What was annoying is that there was no feedback and no copy of the background/credit check information that I opted to recieve while fiilling out their application.

Great Process!! Streamlined and kept me updated throughout. Highly recommended company that was always open and transparent on the process. The interview process was one of the best that I have experienced and couldn't think of how it could be improved.
