First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CDW.
Senior Consultant
The recruiter reached out to me because they had a specific need. After a quick back-and-forth via email, we set up a screening interview. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager, followed by the skip-level manager, and finally, they made me an offer.
- How would you tackle a specific requirement given a scenario?
Technical Consultant
I had a 2 stage interview with the hiring manager and then a technical consultant/architect from their team. The first stage was mostly technical, and the second stage was more about me personally and if I’d fit in with the organisation. An offer then came through a few days later.
- Can you describe your approach to performing an Exchange online migration?
Consultant
I went for this company's recruitment drive on campus. The whole process spanned two days and had four rounds. First was an aptitude test covering OOPs, Data Structures, Linux, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical Aptitude, lasting 60 minutes. Next, a coding round with 3 questions took about 70 minutes. Following that was a technical interview, which could go up to an hour. The final round was a combination of Extempore, Technical, and HR, with about five interviewers in the room, and it was scheduled for a maximum of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The third and fourth rounds heavily focused on my resume.
- Can you write a SQL query to find the second highest salary from a given table?
