Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CDS (Club Demonstration Services).
Sales Associate
We started with a quick call to check if I was available and had the basic experience they were looking for. Then, I went in for an in-person chat where they asked me about my customer service skills and my availability for work.
- What is your weekly work availability?
Sales Associate
It was a really simple process. I met with the supervisor who was very kind and seemed to really care about the candidates. It felt more like a meet and greet where we could both get a feel for each other. The interview took place on-site in the CDS room at Costco, where they usually provide a spare storeroom for supplies. I met my future boss there.
- Given that weekends get busy, how would you manage the stress and pressure of handling many eager customers while still promoting the product effectively?
- How would you ensure you're promoting the product to customers even during busy weekend periods when they are eager for food?
Sales Associate
During Covid, my interview was done over the internet. It was a very relaxed and simple interview. They asked the typical questions about my interest in working there, my past jobs, and my skills.
- What makes you want to join Club Demonstration Services?
