The whole thing moved super fast. I met the recruiter at a career fair and they signed me up for an interview right then and there. I interviewed and got my offer within a couple weeks. They really seemed to not want me looking elsewhere, with the recruiter/interviewer saying something like, "if you're not going to invest in us and get on board, then we won't invest in you." Felt very salesy.

I applied online and got scheduled for a phone interview. The first phone interview seemed to go well, and the recruiter asked me on the phone about my availability to chat with the hiring manager. I gave her my availability and she enthusiastically said she'd make sure I spoke with the hiring manager the next day. However, nothing was arranged for me to speak with the hiring manager the following day, so I sent a follow-up email, and she didn't reply. I called her the week after to confirm she was getting my emails and she said she was and apologized for the delay. She asked again for my availability for the next day, and I provided it. Again, nothing was set up. I sent her a few more follow-up emails over three weeks after that and never heard back. I found the whole experience very unprofessional.

I first talked with the internship coordinator at the Boston office. Then I had an in-person interview with 4 people from the company. We talked about my resume and past work. It lasted about an hour and a half, with about 30-40 minutes for each person. Afterward, we toured the office and I met some other employees. Since I interviewed late in the process, I got the offer the next week.

Given I accepted the Boston office offer (where THC is legal) a few weeks back and wasn't subjected to pre-employment screening, I'm curious about whether random testing occurs and its frequency.
