I'd been a facility manager for over five years, doing a great job and building solid relationships with clients, suppliers, and my team. When my company's contract switched over to CBRE, I figured they'd look at my experience and qualifications fairly. But honestly, the whole thing felt pretty unfair. They didn't even have my resume during the interview, asked stuff that wasn't really about the job, and didn't explain what they were even looking for. It felt like they'd already made up their minds. Even with all my proven performance, working long hours, being available 24/7, and having good client relationships, they ended up picking someone else. I've since heard that other experienced female facility managers from nearby sites got the same runaround, told they weren't qualified for jobs they'd been doing successfully for years. It makes me proud to work for a company that supports women, but this CBRE process has me worried about how transparent, consistent, and fair they are, especially with experienced employees and women. I really hope CBRE improves how they handle contract transitions – better communication, fairness, and respect are needed. People deserve a straightforward and equal evaluation when things change.

The process was very rushed and ultimately led to no news from the company despite sending several emails. I've been contacted by them multiple times for different offers, and it's always the same outcome. This makes me think they don't have much respect for people and that it's not a good company to work for. The benefits they offer are the bare minimum. For such a significant company, I don't understand why they don't provide health insurance for employees, and why it's not even negotiable.
