Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CBIZ.
Manager
The whole process involved a phone screening and then 3 more interviews. They started with a phone screening where they asked behavioral questions. Then, the subsequent interviews were technical. The team made sure to not ask the same questions over and over, and the recruiter kept us updated.
- What would your manager say about you?
- How would your team describe you?
Senior Manager
I was reached out to by an external recruiter who set up an interview with the team pretty quickly. There were two 30-minute interviews that happened back-to-back. The interviews seemed to go well from my end, and the hiring managers seemed pretty friendly. After the interviews, though, I heard nothing back. I tried reaching out to the external recruiter multiple times, but I never got a response.
- What makes you interested in working at CBIZ?
- Could you walk me through your experience and qualifications?
Office Manager
The interviewer reviewed my resume and every job I've ever had, asking detailed follow-up questions about each role. It felt like an interrogation, but they weren't really interested when I provided details.
- What makes you feel you're a good fit for this position?
