Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CBIZ.
Audit Intern
The interview was just with the recruiter, and it was remote. They started by getting to know me, then asked other questions. It was pretty easy, but it was kinda weird that the recruiter decided who got hired, not the actual audit department.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Audit Associate
I applied on LinkedIn and had a quick 15 minute screening with a recruiter on Handshake. Then the actual interview was in person, which consisted of 2 separate 20-30 minute dialogues with two CBIZ professionals. I also met some HR people, got a tour of the office, and got to chat with other interviewees over lunch afterwards. The whole thing was from 10am to 1pm.
- Can you share an instance where you had to convey unfavorable information?
Senior Auditor
I applied through a recruiter on LinkedIn and after that had a phone interview with team members. Following that, I went in for a second in-person interview.
- Do you have industry experience?
- Are you a CPA candidate?
