I interviewed for a manager-level role in the international trade group at CBIZ. Multiple team members were excited about my background and wanted to move quickly. The recruiter even called personally, saying how much the team liked me. After what seemed like the final interview, communication went quiet. I followed up and was told another interview was needed, which I completed and felt went well. Again, I didn’t hear anything until I followed up several days later. Eventually I got an offer, but only had a day and a half to decide right before a long holiday weekend. I didn’t get a benefits summary or bonus details, even though I asked. I replied professionally, requested a few extra days to review everything, and asked about salary flexibility to better match the role scope and market standards. Instead of a conversation, the offer was abruptly withdrawn with a brief email. The experience felt confusing, like I was possibly a backup candidate. The early excitement didn’t match the end. More transparency and respect during the offer stage would have helped.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Went through 4 rounds of interviews for a position, then was ghosted for two weeks. They then reached out about another remote opportunity and had two more interviews, only to be ghosted again. The reason given was they preferred a local candidate and did not want a remote employee. It was a huge waste of time and showed no concern for the interviewee. Would not recommend.

Behavioral Technical

The first part of the interview will involve questions about your strengths, weaknesses, and general experience. The second part is primarily a behavioral interview where you'll be asked to share specific examples of times you took action. Using the STAR method is recommended for answering these behavioral questions.
