Data Scientist
I had a first technical interview, then saw the technical project. Didn't have time to complete it because of work, and wasn't that excited by the probable offer, so I just left it there. I think there would've been a follow-up call, followed probably by more of a culture fit interview. The first interviewer was very decent, had a good discussion, and seemed very reasonable and considerate.

The interview process was surprisingly terrible, with the company rescinding a 4th round invitation just a day before, after I had already taken time off work. The reasons given were vague and contradictory, including salary expectations, lack of specific experience, or the role no longer existing. All this information was present in my application, suggesting a CV screening failure. This wasted my time on preliminary interviews and a lengthy technical assessment over several weeks. There was also a lack of transparency regarding the process, such as the total number of rounds (estimated at 5) and the identities of decision-makers. The significant time commitment for some interviews, especially for a company of its size and stage, seemed unwarranted.

- 2nd round technical interview
- 3rd round 3-hr technical assessment
Data Scientist
I echo what other candidates are writing: Awful process. Starting with a completely impersonal questionnaire with questions such as “Why you applied”, “Why this business function” or “Name 3 things you would want to be true about your career 3 years from now”, and others of the kind, which is not bad, it’s just bad to ask it in a questionnaire, impersonal and snob. Assuming you have 10min to make up some cheesy answers to cheesy questions, you move to round two, which as others have said, it is a timed python test. Not difficult, but quite tricky to get everything in time, irrespective of python skills! Still, impersonal and snob having to do it on a hackerank style. Such a big waste of time, really.

- When did you write your first line of code?
- What is your current base salary?
