First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cathay Pacific.
Engineering Intern
After an online aptitude assessment, there was a video interview. The practice aptitude test wasn't very similar to the real one, so practicing didn't help much. It required quick reactions to questions and strong information organization skills.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Please give a presentation during the panel interview.
Engineering Intern
It was an online virtual interview that was fairly easy. They asked 3 questions, and you get 1 minute to answer each. The questions weren't hard; just basic knowledge of aviation and passion for the company were needed.
- What makes you want to join Cathay Pacific?
- What interests you about the aviation industry?
- Why should we hire you?
Engineering Intern
There were two main parts to the interview process. First, there was a 30-minute group discussion where 8 candidates were given information and had to work together to reach a conclusion. After that, there was a 30-minute individual interview. I was then hired for about two months.
- What are your learning expectations for this internship?
- Could you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you give us a brief introduction about yourself?
