I applied on Indeed and a recruiter from i-Sight got in touch pretty quickly. She chatted with me about the job to see if I was into it. A few days later, we scheduled a technical interview. Everyone was really great. They asked about my past work and some general tech stuff. Then came the coding challenge with two algorithm questions, focused on how I think through problems. My strategy was to start with simple ideas and improve them, explaining my thought process as I went. That same day, I got an email to set up a chat with the CTO and HR director. They were both awesome and talked a lot about the role to make sure it was a good match. After that, I did a two-hour shadow session with the folks who did the tech interview. It was cool to see their daily work and super interesting. A few days later, they made an offer. It was a really positive experience overall. All the people I met at i-Sight were genuinely friendly and approachable. A great process that lets you meet a bunch of different people from various departments.

The interview process is informal, with three steps if you make it all the way through. First, there's a technical interview with a couple of their developers. Then, you'll have an interview with two of their team managers. Finally, there's an interview with their partners. It felt like a cool place to work, and everyone seemed to say good things about each other and their partners. They were laid back and seemed more interested in getting to know you and seeing if you're a good fit. It seemed like they had to find interviewers, and the managers seemed a bit disorganized and unprepared. It would have been better if they introduced themselves properly since I had no idea who I was talking to until near the end.

Behavioral Technical

I've worked for several Fortune 500 companies yet I've never had one recruiter hiding behind a blocked email DL - what other reviewers said is true - if this company isn't even willing to share their direct email contact with you, it shows something. Typical interview questions, never one time the interviewers were on time which is very unprofessional. I had to go through rounds of interviews with different managers which is very tedious.
