First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cascadia Consulting Group.
Project Coordinator
Started with a screening call, then I had an interview with two people who have been there a long time. After that, there was this weird, time-limited technical test that was super vague and hard to prep for. I made it to the final 3 candidates. But then, nothing. They totally ghosted me after the last test. I followed up by email a few times, but nobody even bothered to get back to me, which is super rude and just not something you see, especially from a big company.
- How do you prefer to communicate?
Associate
Cascadia took over a month to get back to me for an interview. They called and said it would be a few screening questions and only take a few minutes, but it ended up being a full interview, which caught me off guard. They mentioned Cascadia Consulting Group has work-life balance issues and is using software to find solutions. The interview/phone screen lasted about an hour. I was told I'd hear back within 2 business days, but I didn't. After multiple calls and emails to the hiring email and the interviewer, I realized I've been ghosted.
- What steps are you taking to promote DEI initiatives in your professional or personal life?
Recycling Analyst
It was pretty good, and they communicated really well. They answered all my questions about the company effectively. They also gave me an opportunity to share more information about myself. They explained in detail how the department operates and what a typical project lifecycle looks like.
- Could you start by telling us about yourself and what sparked your interest in working with us?
Project Assistant
I sent in my resume and cover letter. Then I got a call and interviewed on the spot. After that, I came into the office for another interview with a senior person and a junior person. They also gave me an Excel test.
- Can you describe how you would manage a specific job-related hypothetical scenario?
- Tell us about your passions and how they might fit with our office culture.
