So far, I've been through two stages. The first one was mainly about getting to know each other and for them to learn about me, and for me to learn about the company. The second stage was a Skype call where they asked me some technical questions, specifically about the vanishing gradient problem.

Technical Case Presentation

The recruiter contacted me for a Data Scientist role, initially for Singapore. The interview process involved 3 technical rounds and 1 managerial round. It started with a Mathematical Quiz, followed by a case study, and then a case study review. During the case study, it felt like the interviewer was using me to get actual work done, asking me to complete a full feature over Skype and implying my rejection if I didn't follow his recommendations, which felt like a shady tactic. The recruiter gave positive overall feedback and mentioned an offer was forthcoming. After several follow-ups, I learned the position was on hold and I was asked to consider an India office instead. Fortunately, I discovered their questionable ethics before accepting.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

So I was interviewed for a Data Scientist position in Singapore. After finishing all the interview rounds, which were about 4-5, some in-person and some by call, I felt it was a waste of time. They didn't make the expectations for the role clear. I was told I'd get an offer next week after I finished all the rounds. But then I found out that hiring for that role is frozen.
