HR Payroll Coordinator
HR contacted me on WhatsApp to set up a quick call. Following that, they scheduled an interview. Before the interview, I had to complete a 30-minute aptitude test, and I had to pass it. My screen was recorded during the test. The interview itself was a group panel session via Zoom. If I wasn't selected, they wouldn't let me know.
- Why did you leave your last job?
- How do you handle stress?
IT Support
Had a first phone interview, then an aptitude test. After passing those, I was scheduled to meet the Hiring Manager. They tried to negotiate salary, saying my expected salary was too high. The recruiter said they'd discuss it with the Hiring Manager on Monday. I followed up on Tuesday, but got no response. It's now Wednesday and I was supposed to meet the Hiring Manager. It's very unprofessional and a waste of my time. If salary is an issue, they shouldn't have called me for an interview, asked me to do a test, and then ghosted me. A simple "apologies, we're not moving forward due to salary" would have been much better.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your reasons for leaving your current company?
- What are your technical skills?
Software Engineer
It was fine. Regarding the tech interview, they asked regular tech questions and about my past experience in development applications. The interviewers were nice and polite. They also gave me a chance to ask questions. Nothing really special about what they asked or how they asked it. Overall, the communication during the interview process was good.
- Are you able to relocate to one of the company's offices?
Relationship Manager
The process was pretty simple. The recruiters were friendly and made me feel welcome. I got through everything and then set up a meeting with the hiring manager in PH. She seemed okay initially, but then she made offensive comments about my network and disrespected me. She didn't even show her face during the whole virtual interview and there were awkward silences. It was disappointing. They did ask me for a final round but after the hiring manager meeting, I felt it wasn't worth continuing. It felt toxic and unprofessional. They really need to train their managers on how to conduct interviews.
