The interview had three parts. First, they tested my JavaScript and React knowledge, asking about things like closures, promises, the event loop, and React hooks and lifecycles. There were also some coding and output questions to check my problem-solving and async understanding. The second part was a machine coding round where I had to build a stopwatch app with React and TypeScript, focusing on code structure and state management. They also asked about optimizations and edge cases. Finally, there was an HR round to see if I fit the company culture, asking behavioral questions about teamwork, challenges, and my motivation. It was a pretty structured process, covering both tech skills and how I implement things.

Coding System Design Technical

There were 3 rounds total. The first was focused on Js and React, with deep dives into JS concepts like the event loop, and a coding challenge to design a Traffic light in React. The second round was a general System Design interview, which was pretty easy. They asked me to design a Landing page and discuss all the aspects involved, from development to deployment and error monitoring. The third round was with a VP and involved a medium-level DSA question.

So I had this really bad experience with Cars24, totally unprofessional. It started with an onsite interview I passed, got congratulated, but the next day they asked for docs. Submitted them, and then the salary games started, even though I'd discussed it with HR and the hiring manager confirmed it. After three weeks, they called back saying they'd offer the salary but I had to do another interview round. I did a technical interview with a tech lead and thought I did well, but they rejected me for 'team fitment/culture fitment', which is weird for a technical round. They wasted my time and showed a lack of integrity. I wouldn't recommend them.
