Gotta strengthen my Git, REST, deployment, and optimization skills. Then, I'll be solving coding challenges, doing mock interviews, and working on system design, problem-solving, scalability, communication, confidence, and speed.

I signed up for a 15 minute phone screen with the recruiter. A few days before my interview, she emails me and says the spot has been filled up and she will interview me for another similar SWE role if I want, so I said okay. The phone screen just asks basic questions and she says she will give her notes to the Hiring Manager who will contact me in 1-1.5 weeks. The Hiring Manager never contacts me in 1-1.5 weeks. After 2 weeks, I get a generic update email that they do not want to continue to interview me.
