Sales Engineer
Had breakfast with the Sales Manager. It was a really good experience, she was very nice. She asked smart questions, and talked about the good and bad parts of the job. She was very open about what the role involves. After we finished, HR called me with a job offer.

Sales Engineer
I was contacted by a sales rep from the company at my state college and invited for an interview. Later that day, an HR rep told me I got a second round interview in Charlotte, NC. They flew me out and paid for my hotel. The next 2 days involved plant visits, interviews with engineers and HR, and a group case study. They said they'd let me know their decision but haven't contacted me in 3 months. The experience was amazing, but I wish they were more upfront about the decision; I'd rather hear no than be left hanging.
