Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Carrier.
Intern
The interview was based on my CV. They went in-depth into my projects and current work experience. Near the end, they asked some common puzzles like the horse racing problem.
- Could you explain your reasoning for selecting specific Fourier deconvolution models for that project?
- What is the necessity of performing deconvolution in this context?
Intern
Had a behavioral HR interview, then another with the hiring manager. It went pretty smoothly, but they use an outside company for HR, so the first person I talked to didn't actually work there.
- Can you tell me about your previous engineering internships?
Intern
The interview process was super chill and went smoothly. I started with a chat with someone from HR, and then I had my second round with a Product Manager. It was really relaxed, not intense at all, felt more like a casual conversation. We talked about what I could bring to the team and discussed potential projects I could work on there.
- Could you tell me more about yourself?
