Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Carr Riggs & Ingram.
Intern
The interview process was simple, with no technical questions. It was more like a chat to see if your personality fits the company. They asked typical interview questions like what you expect to be doing in the next 5 years.
- What are your 5-year career goals?
Intern
It was a half-day experience where multiple people questioned me at the same time. Questions ranged from very technical to very personal. Some interviewers had prepared questions from the internet, while others were unprepared and acted like it was a waste of their time. The lunch was the best part.
- What can you contribute to the firm?
Intern
It was a super chill interview. They emailed me Monday to set it up, and I interviewed on Wednesday with a partner, the office manager, and a tax manager. Everyone was really nice and it was an easy chat. Got the offer about a week later.
- Tell me about your strengths.
- Can you describe a time you overcame a work challenge and succeeded?
- What do you consider your weaknesses?
