The interview was about getting to know my background and career aspirations. We talked about my expected salary, why I left my last job, and if I was talking to other companies, including where I was at with them. It was a chill, direct chat about seeing if we're a good fit and if our career paths align.

The interview process included all the ranking members of the audit team in the Tampa office, from associates to partners, which was wonderful. The process of what you will do at CRI was crystal clear from the get go and their expectations were well understood. I did not feel as though I was drilled for information, either. It was a relaxed interview setting, which is excellent for someone new to the corporate world.

I had an on-campus interview with a Supervisor. On the same day, they wanted to move forward and invited me for a second interview at their office within the same week. At the office, three Audit Supervisors interviewed me, and they were really nice and knowledgeable. They want to know more about you and your experience to see if you'd be a good fit. One supervisor asked some technical questions, which aren't too difficult if you're an accounting student who takes your studies seriously. All three supervisors asked about my previous experience, what I did, if I'm CPA eligible, and my plans for taking the CPA exam. You need to know your resume well. The whole process was smooth and well-organized. Everyone I met was nice and polite.

Behavioral Other

I was first interviewed by four audit team members who seemed very unorganized. Second, I was interviewed by two higher up members of the company. The overall interview process seemed rather unstructured. As I left the interview, I was told that they would extend an offer to me in 1-2 weeks. 2 weeks passed and I followed up with an email, but I received no response. At the 3 week mark, I called one of the interviewers and left a message but received no response. I took the hint. They didn't want to hire me, but why would they lead me on and not ever follow up? Very poor communication. Wouldn't want to work for a company who can't have the decency to tell an interviewee that they aren't a fit for the position.
