Sales Manager
I applied and got an email almost instantly to set up a phone interview. The phone interview went well. After a few more emails, an in-person interview was scheduled for a week later. Plan for 4 hours and check out the website for interview tips. (They didn't ask me anything about the company). They put me on a PC in front of customers to ask some very personal questions. The second interview was with a manager who wasn't in uniform and was reading questions from a paper. The last interview was with an LGM who spoke about his career and asked me several questions from a paper. He told me I'd hear back in 7 days. Nobody ever contacted me. I emailed recruiting 3 times with no response. Finally, I logged into the talent network 3 weeks later and saw my application wasn't being considered anymore. I had high hopes.
- Can you tell me about the most challenging employee you've ever managed?
- How many disciplinary actions have you received at your last job?
- Describe a situation where you devised a solution to a significant problem.
Sales Manager
It was a long interview process, but it was all completed on the same day. The process was pretty straightforward, just make sure you don't schedule anything immediately afterward because it can run a bit late. I was given a job offer that same day once everything was wrapped up.
- Can you share an instance where you provided outstanding customer service?
Sales Manager
Super intense process, but it makes sense given their low turnover. They're looking for people who will stay long-term. It began with an online application and a personality test. Then there was a 1-hour phone interview, followed by an online assessment involving a computer simulation and recorded video responses that took 2-4 hours. After that, there was a 4-hour in-person interview. I've heard great things about the company and culture, and it seems like everyone enjoys working there. The long interview process is understandable. Study up on situational questions about your work history. Practice a lot!
- Can you describe how you structure your day?
