Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Carlsberg Group.
Graduate Trainee
The interview process had a few steps. I got to Stage 3 but had to stop because I wasn't available. It was a good experience, everything was organized. The HR person was nice and professional, which made me feel comfortable. The first call was about 30 minutes and felt like just chatting to get to know me and what I'm interested in. Thanks for the interview opportunity!
- How to approach casual conversation during the interview? Be confident and ready!
Graduate Trainee
The interview process involved an individual interview that lasted between 30 to 45 minutes, conducted in English with six interviewers. Candidates were required to prepare and submit a proposal via email before the interview date. This was followed by a group interview.
- What are your thoughts on craft beer
Digital Graduate
It took Carlsberg 3 months to get back to me after applying for the Digital Graduate role. They eventually sent an invitation for an online assessment, which has its own system and is planned for less than 2 hours. This assessment included a lot of personality questions, some quick math and absurd calculations. There was also a part where I had to act as an investigator and solve a business case with limited information and time. After that, I was asked questions about my recommendations and what I could recall. I received a rejection email after finishing this part.
