It was a straightforward interview where they explained the department dynamics. They kept it brief but answered all my questions professionally. I've been in my department since.

Had a phone interview first to go over the job description, hours, and what they expect. They asked some basic questions then. The second interview was in person with the department staff where they asked more challenging questions. Overall, it was a great experience.

Behavioral Technical

It was a super straightforward interview. First, there was an HR screening where they just looked over my resume. Then, I had a sit-down interview with the manager I'd be working with. They asked for basic details about me and typical interview questions about my strengths, weaknesses, and general background and past work experience.

I put in my application online, and the whole thing took about three weeks. I had my interview at Carle Clinic in Urbana, IL back in August 2018. It started with a phone interview, then I talked with the department manager, followed by a job shadow and a peer interview. I got the job offer and quit my old job. After that, there was medical clearance, a drug screen, and all that. They even sent a welcome card from the department I was supposed to join. But then, just five days before my start date, the HR Manager called and told me they were pulling the job offer. Apparently, the person who did the initial phone interview didn't record everything correctly, making it seem like I wasn't being honest. Now I have to wait at least a year before I can even think about applying again. Not sure I will, I'm looking elsewhere.
