The interview had two parts. First, a 30-minute phone call with the recruiter, which was super chill and felt like a friendly chat. Then, a 30-minute video call with the hiring manager. This one was a bit weird; he seemed checked out from the jump. He asked some basic stuff like 'tell me about yourself' and 'what do you know about Caris', plus a couple of technical questions about oncogenes and handling biopsy samples. He mentioned the whole MSL team had recently quit and he was rebuilding it from scratch, which felt a bit odd. He just seemed uninterested the whole time, so I wasn't shocked when I got a standard rejection email a few days later.

It was a phone call and then a Teams interview. The Teams interview was split into two parts: one with the data team and another with the data manager. Each of those sessions was about an hour long. The interview with the data manager included some questions about anatomy and physiology.

I initially connected with a recruiter, and through them, I interviewed with the Chief Business Officer and other Vice Presidents in Biopharm Development and Medical Affairs. The recruiter was key in coordinating these approximately 5 interviews. Towards the end of the process, US HR extended an offer, and we negotiated some terms. I accepted the position within a month or two.

Had 3 interviews. The first was a phone call with a recruiter, followed by two video interviews with team members. Even though cameras were required, neither interviewer used theirs. The second interviewer was 10 minutes late, and I had to reach out to the recruiter to figure things out. The recruiter called to set up a third interview, but I had to let her know I'd already spoken with that person. They really stressed metrics, even though Oncology data is supposed to be accuracy-focused. I never got an offer or any feedback after the interviews. It felt like a month of my time was wasted. There were red flags all over the place, and the company seemed really disorganized and out of touch.
