First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Caribou Coffee.
Barista
The interview was pretty simple and direct. The manager inquired about my previous barista experience, my availability, and how my status as a full-time student might impact my schedule. They maintained a very professional demeanor, showing they have strong corporate standards for how they handle their processes and treat employees.
- What's your experience as a barista?
Shift Leader
I talked with the general manager, and it was pretty standard. They asked me about my past experience and why I was interested in Caribou. I got an offer right away.
- In what ways do you feel your personal values are a good match for our company's values?
Supply Chain Analyst
The interview process felt pretty old-fashioned. It didn't really give a clear picture of what it's like working in the corporate offices, which are known to be chaotic with a really uneven workload right from the start. There was a lot of fake corporate lingo, but it was manageable.
- How do you best learn new things?
Team Member
The interview process was pretty standard. After the interview, the interviewer said they'd let me know by next week, but I never heard back. I reached out, but still no reply. Then, a few months later, I got an automated email from their hiring site saying they decided not to move forward with my application.
- Describe a situation where you felt valued at work.
