Support Engineer
The interview process involved a take-home project and 4 interviews. It was a good experience overall, and the people I met seemed genuinely invested in finding the right person for the team. Since it was an entry-level role, they were upfront about looking for recent graduates, and the questions reflected that, not requiring prior engineering experience but still assessing fundamental web development knowledge. A slight hiccup occurred when an interviewer reviewing my take-home project admitted they hadn't read the prompt, which could have saved time and led to better feedback. I appreciated having a "culture fit" interview with the Support Engineering team, as it provided insight into the team dynamic and reinforced my interest in the role.

Senior Front End Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward, with 3 interviews in total. First, a 30-minute phone screen. Then, a take-home assessment that was interesting and quick to finish, though you could spend more time on it if you wanted. Finally, a full day of interviews where I met various team members, including those in design, product, tech leadership, and other engineering roles. Surprisingly, most of these interviews focused on behavioral questions, aiming to understand my goals, self-growth objectives, and ambitions. There were also one or two interviews on that day specifically about SWE topics and a review of the take-home assessment. For the take-home part, be ready to explain your choices for the tasks they gave you. Everyone I met was really nice, welcoming, and happy to share about their own journeys at CareRev.

Salesforce Administrator
I applied and got an email a couple of weeks later to schedule my phone interview. On the day of the interview, the interviewer cancelled an hour before, which I found unprofessional. We rescheduled, and I spoke with her over the phone. My first impression was that she was rude and uninterested in my experience. She didn't know the position I applied for and clearly hadn't reviewed my resume. She asked what our company does and what I can do. I felt that her attitude reflected poorly on the company.

The internal recruiter at CareRev is really great, transparent and seems to genuinely care. The interview process includes: Recruiter Screen (30min), Dept Head/Hiring manager (45mins), Meet the team (30mins), Presentation (45mins), Third party recruiter (45mins), and a CEO meeting (45mins). That's 6 rounds total.
