Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield.
PMO Analyst
They asked about my experience, why I quit my last job, how I found out about the company, what I like about this position, and what I expect from it. Also, a question about my hardest work experience.
- Can you discuss your experience in relation to this role?
- What prompted your departure from your previous employment?
- What led you to discover our organization?
Analyst
Got a call from HR, then had a 30-minute phone interview. About two weeks later, there was a 3-hour interview with the group. The process was super smooth, they weren't trying to make it hard for you! Just be sure you know your stuff and do a bit of research on behavioral questions, and you'll be good.
- No difficult or surprising questions were asked. Mostly general behavioral questions, 'what if' scenarios, and some technical questions related to the role I was interviewing for. Nothing unusual.
- The questions were straightforward, focusing on behavioral aspects, hypothetical situations, and technical knowledge pertinent to the position.
Programme Analyst
I had 3 people interviewing me, and the questions were about QA. They were really nice and made me feel comfortable even though I was a bit nervous. The questions were pretty standard, and I managed to answer most of them.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- Could you introduce yourself and discuss your experience?
- Describe a challenging situation you encountered.
