The recruiter reached out and during the interview process, she didn't schedule things properly and didn't respond to several of my emails. They moved me through quickly, and I was told to reach out to setup a pit sit with their team. I did so and received no response. When I followed up, I was told by this recruiter that the job had been filled. I submitted a review on Great Recruiter but the review could not be filled out anonymously. The recruiter who made the mistakes reached out to tell me that the person who offered to move me to the next step was no longer with the compnay and had told her that I was not a good fit. Both managers that I spoke to are still listed as employees of CareerStaff Unlimited. The biggeest problem is that you cannot give a negative review about the interview process without it possibly affecting your chances of taking a position with them in the future. This is a major concern!

So I was first reached out by a recruiter from the company. We chatted on the phone for about 30 minutes. Then, I got set up to interview with the local area manager. I ended up having two phone interviews with them, and then one with the area director over the phone as well. After that, I had an in-person interview that was about 1-2 hours long. It included a sit-down chat and also a "pit sit" where I got to shadow and see the job hands-on. Finally, I had to do an online application with some skills and performance tests, and then I got the offer. It was a pretty long process, but they really made sure I was a good fit for the team.

I started with a quick call from an internal recruiter, maybe 15-30 minutes. Then I had an in-person chat with my direct hiring manager, which was about 30 minutes to an hour. After that, I did another in-person office visit, a 'pit sit,' and then had a conversation and review afterward, lasting about an hour. The next step was a phone screen with the VP of my Region. I got the offer the same day.
