Support Specialist
It was a standard chronological interview. The hiring manager asked basic to mid-level technical questions and was really interested in my knowledge of process documentation and Salesforce developer side, which I didn't have much experience with. He spoke for a long time and I got the offer right away. I got the formal offer letter 3 weeks after meeting with the hiring manager and senior management.
- Do you know Salesforce?
Client Support Specialist
You'll have one interview with 2 managers. They're going to ask a bunch of questions back to back. Some examples include: How good is your Excel? What's your experience with Sales reps? Will you work free overtime? Tell me about a tough client situation. Tell me about a tough co-worker situation. Tell me about a tough boss situation. (Because apparently only 2 of them are any good.)
- If you have too much work and multiple deadlines, how do you handle it?
Client Support Specialist
People come in one by one for an interview, so you won't meet other candidates for the same role. Usually, a manager and a future teammate will interview you. First, you'll chat about the company and your role. Then, you'll answer some questions about your skills. After that, you'll spend 15-30 minutes on the floor with the team. If the job requires another language, you'll have a phone chat with someone from that country to check your language skills, which might be a few days later or the same day.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations to help a customer?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle a frustrated or angry customer.
- Tell me about a time you received criticism or negative feedback from a manager.
