It started with a recruiter call after I applied on LinkedIn. Then I had a FaceTime call with the team director, which was about 30 minutes. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview the same week with the director and the lead recruiter. Everything seemed to go well, but then I was ghosted after I sent thank you emails. I then followed up with the first recruiter and she asked if I was interested in a similar role in another sector. I said yes and then never heard back from Fourth Floor again. It was unprofessional and I didn't feel valued, so I stopped following up.

The interview was quite long, over two hours. It started with a meeting with the team director. Then, the team lead joined us about halfway through the conversation. After that, I was taken to meet the company President. Some people were already in her office, and they stayed while she asked me various questions about myself. Overall, it was a really good but also demanding interview experience. My tip for people applying is to expect the unexpected.

I talked to a recruiter who presented me with two opportunities: one with their client and an internal role at Career Group. I expressed interest in both. While I didn't get a response about the client's position, I advanced in the process for the internal opening. I had interviews with five different people, including a phone chat with the EVP. I also completed a questionnaire sometime between interviews. The entire process spanned over a month, and during that time, I accepted another job offer. Everyone I met was really open and friendly; I could definitely picture myself working there. But if you're going to lead a candidate through multiple interview rounds, you have to be ready for the possibility they might be interviewing elsewhere. The role I accepted hired me after just one video interview.
