I applied online through an ad and their website. Didn't hear back, so I called them to set up a recruiter meeting. The receptionist gave me an email and said a recruiter would get back to me in 5-7 business days. I didn't like that impression so I didn't proceed. A week or two later, someone from Career Group called about my application and asked two resume questions: why I quit my last two jobs. She said someone else would call to set up an appointment, but still no call. Weird recruiting firm process.

I saw their Craigslist ad for temp-to-hire jobs and applied. They invited me for an interview the next day. The recruiter asked typical interview questions, and some while we walked around the office because she was rushing to another meeting. Then she sent me to a coworker so she could leave. I had a lot of paperwork to complete and also took MS Office skills tests. It felt like a generic group interview.

The interview process was quite long, but it was necessary so they can see if I am a good fit for the available positions. I think having a process when interviewing someone for a role is important because you want to ensure you are making the best choice for your clients.
