I got a call first to chat about my background and experience. Then, I was set up for an interview. The whole thing was easy, and everyone was super nice and made me feel welcome. The interview questions were really direct and about the job, so it wasn't hard to answer. They offered me the job at the end, and I took it. It was a great experience overall.

The initial interview stages were good and I felt positive about the role. However, when I reached the final stage, the dynamic shifted. The two interviewers seemed uninterested from the start, which put me in an awkward position before I could even answer their questions. I got the impression they had already made their hiring decision.

The recruiter was very controlling on the call, making it feel less like a conversation and more like an interrogation. When I asked about salary, she changed the subject and asked what my salary expectations were. When I asked again, she avoided the question and then told me the salary. When I inquired about what makes a candidate a 'superstar shining candidate' for remote work, she vaguely replied, 'for a superstar shining candidate' we will offer remote, and then changed the subject again when I pressed for details. The call felt disjointed, like the recruiter was just trying to extract information rather than have a human interaction. The call ended abruptly with a generic 'we will be in touch' and no clear explanation. She was also unable to provide information on KPIs, stating they would be different from mine. I questioned how she would feel if she were on the receiving end of such a call.

Five phases are commonly used to categorise interviews: 1.introduction One minute for the introduction Researchers so conclude that we need to leave a positive impression. 2. Small talk You should strike up a conversation with the applicant after the introductions are finished. 3. Information collection The important step in the recruiting process is information collection, or asking the candidate to give you their elevator pitch. This occurs after the small conversation. 4. Questions/Answers This is your chance to connect the candidate's background and experience to what your business requires. 5.Wrapping Many interviews have recently... concluded. The interview's closure is every bit as crucial as the previous stages. Hiring top talent in your business requires generating a positive first impression as much as it does building a positive opinion of the firm and its culture.
