Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was very easy. The first interview was a video call where we just went over basic interview questions. The second interview was also a video call, but for this one, they asked me to put together a presentation on how to succeed in a cold calling environment. I decided not to take the job because the pay was really low.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process had a lot of red flags and was very unprofessional. My interviewer was changed at the last minute due to a personal issue, and I wasn't informed via email or any other communication. When I joined the Zoom call, I was met by his manager instead. He tried to grill me with inappropriate questions, seemingly to establish a power imbalance. When it was my turn to ask questions, he struggled to answer them, not because the questions were difficult, but as if they were beyond his comprehension or he was accustomed to only asking the tough questions. I lost interest in the company after the interview. The company is facing financial and cultural issues, which isn't surprising given the unqualified people in leadership roles.

I first chatted with the recruiter for about 30 minutes. They were super friendly and totally open about the company, what the job involves, the pay, and how the hiring and start-up process works. After that, I did a one-on-one zoom call with the hiring manager. This interview got more into the specifics of the role and we reviewed my resume and past work experience.
